What should we do next: Something good, something bad? Bit of both?
Groot, put your seatbelt on, Guardians 2 is about to land in the cinema!

It has been 3 year (2014) since Marvel delivered Guardians on the Galaxy to us…and we have been waiting for the sequel ever since.

The original was a runaway success and showed that you don’t need the firepower of Iron Man or the strength of Hulk to deliver a comic masterpiece.

After 3 sleepless years of waiting Marvel will deliver the sequel to the UK on April 28, 2017 (which happens to be a full week before the US).

WHO IS BACK FOR ROUND 2?

Guardians Vol 2 is set two months after the first instalment and sees Chris Pratt back as Star-Lord (Peter Quill), Zoe Saldana return as Gamora, Vin Diesel as the voice of Baby Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, plus who could forget Rocket voiced by Bradley Cooper.

Other characters back for round 2 include Karen Gillian as Nebula and Michael Rooker as Yondu.

WHAT ABOUT NEW CHARACTERS?

Well for starters how about Kurt Russell as “Ego the Living Planet”, and Sylvester Stallone!?!

Big star name dropping aside we have Pom Klementieff joining the crew as the psychic called Mantis, and Tommy Flanagan (from Sons of Anarchy) joining the cast.

WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC?

Firstly it is going to take some musical power tracks to compete with the soundtrack to Volume 1, which topped the downloads chart!

Rather than say anything about it…..here is the soundtrack for you to admire:

ELO – ‘Mr. Blue Sky’

Sweet – ‘Fox on the Run’

Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah – ‘Lake Shore Drive’

Fleetwood Mac – ‘The Chain’

Sam Cooke – ‘Bring it On Home to Me’

Glen Campbell – ‘Southern Nights’

George Harrison – ‘My Sweet Lord’

Looking Glass – ‘Brandy You’re a Fine Girl’

Jay and the Americans – ‘Come a Little Bit Closer’

Silver – ‘Wham Bang Shang-A-Lang’

Cheap Trick – ‘Surrender’

Yusuf / Cat Stevens – ‘Father and Son’

Parliament – ‘Flashlight’

The Sneepers featuring David Hasselhoff – ‘Guardians Inferno’

WHAT’S THE PLOT?

We don’t know a lot about the plot from the trailer…but what we do know is:

- Peter Quill will be exploring his relationship with his father.

- Nebula will be back with a vengeance….and maybe some emotion.

- Groot will return as Baby Groot.

GEARING UP FOR THE MOVIE?

If like us you want to show your support and add to your epic Movie T-Shirts, we have a collection of Guardians of the Galaxy T-Shirts that will leave you with Groot Expectations for the film!

What more can we say other than we hope you enjoy the movie, and feel free to let us know how it was for you on Twitter, Facebook or right here.

Doctor Who fans rejoice! Following an achingly long 12 month break, Series 10 is due to kick off this weekend and expectations couldn’t be higher!  I’ll warn you now, there may be a couple of light spoilers ahead so tread carefully!

The wonderful Peter Capaldi will be returning as the Doctor (in what has been confirmed as his final series) and he will be joined by a brand new companion in the form of Bill Potts played by Pearl Mackie.  Also, very excitingly, Matt Lucas (who I’ll always remember from Shooting Stars and Little Britain!) will be returning as Nardole, a character who was last seen in the 2015 Christmas Special.
The first episode is called The Pilot and will show The Doctor meeting Bill while working as a lecturer in a University, he then of course whisks her away to his weird and wonderful world. Show writer Steven Moffat has promised that this episode is a great starting point for anyone who’s not seen the show yet, so there’s no excuse not to get involved!

It also wouldn’t be Doctor Who without a couple of scary moments to get us hiding behind the sofa courtesy of the huge range of villains that the series is well known for. It seems that new sidekick Bill is going to get chucked in at the deep end as the first episode is said to feature the greatest of all enemies, The Daleks!

Confirmed to be returning this series is The Master (played by John Simm) who has a long running history with the Doctor, some might say the ultimate version of a frenemy!  Also returning will be Missy (played by Michelle Gomez) who is the female equivalent of The Master, what will happen when these two meet?  Only one way to find out!

If all this talk has got you excited for some treats, we have got a great range of Doctor Who Clothing and Doctor Who Merchandise that any fan is sure to love.  With a range that includes T-Shirts, mugs, duvets and much more we’ve got all you need to help you snuggle up for series premiere this Saturday!
