Autobots roll out......
If like me you were tranform-erly (is that a word?) neglected as a child because ones parents realised Transformers was a massive marketing ploy by Hasbro to get kids to buy toys and therefore your only transformer was a cheap market knock off 'Santa' got you for Xmas (I never realised Santa was a tight wad), then you'll be pretty excited about the upcoming Transformers dark of the moon movie which is released THIS WEEK!
I know for a fact I am. After watching the first 2 movies without blinking once, I can confirm they were every adult Transformers fans dream (well mine anyway!) I swear I was clinically blinded by all the explosions followed closely by a near motorcycle accident on the way home because I was willing my bike to turn into a giant robot (in case you were wondering, I wanted it to be a decepticon which Iâd name Bones and weâd be awesome together OK.)
Therefore, Iâm expecting more explosions, lasers, guns, giant robots and a few more explosions followed closely by bleeding eyeballs and fits of epilepsy when I leave the cinema for the third instalment of the hugely popular franchise. If that happens, I'll be a happy boy! If it doesn't, those Autobots had better watch out.
Reviews have been mixed so far with The Daily Mail saying
Come back Megan Fox, all is forgiven...
'Michael Bay and Co. strive to redeem themselves here for Revenge of the Fallen. Did they succeed? Mostly. Of course, those who loathe the series won't be convinced no matter what, but that begs the question why they'd even bother to see the third film let alone go in with an open mind. There are pacing problems and pockets of goofy humor in the first part of Act Two that threaten to derail the film, but it wisely course-corrects enough to save itself. Its last hour is the full-on human vs. robot war film that the Terminator series has always promised but never delivered. Transformers: Dark of the Moon may not be a great film, but it is largely great fun. In a summer movie season that's only had a handful of films that have really offered that, it's nice to see the Transformers exit the screen (at least for now) on a high rather than low note.'
I'll let you know my thoughts tomorrow as I'm off to see it tonight - oh yes! Here's the trailer for anyone who hasn't had a sneak peek as yet....
If Iâm honest though, nothing beats the original transformers movie from the eighties especially this Awesome Scene When Stan Bushâs power fisting anthem âthe Touchâ kicks in, itâs just awesome and gives me goose bumps every time. Michael Bay will never be able to replicate that.

I firmly believe that Optimus Prime is the reason most of us wanted to drive trucks as a kid and without Transformers life would have been dull for us 80's kids. What would the alternative beâ¦..Go bots?â¦..please.
