Why I can't help but be enchanted by Disney Couture Jewellery
We have a long love affair with Disney Couture Jewellery here at TruffleShuffle HQ and have seen many collections come (and often speedily) go over the years. Some pieces are so much adored that they have become part of a core collection and are certainly here to stay - we call these the Classics. Then we have all the exciting collaborations with of-the-moment fashion designers, the most recent being the premium Minnie Mawi Collection which not only we loved, but celebs were seen wearing the pieces left, right and centre! Finally, the latest Disney Couture launch, the Icon Collection, brought together all your favourite Disney fairytale characters on a range of intricately designed to the teeniest detail pieces.
The Classics
These best sellers have earned their place in the Classics collection. With ever-lasting love from our loyal customers, the press and a wealth of celebrity fans, it would be sacrilege to lose these beautiful pieces and so we will endeavour to keep them on the site for as long as we can.
Icon Collection
New to 2012, this is the first and largest instalment of the Icon Collection (with whispers of more capsule collections being launched throughout the year). The Disney Couture Icon Collection brings together all those magical moments from the most loved, classic fairytales and characters, combining them with beautiful, innovative, intricate design details in this premium, nostalgic range. With stars such as Snow White, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Bambi and Sleeping Beauty all referenced, these pieces have been lovingly made to be treasured for a lifetime, a real happy ever after! Minnie Mawi
Probably the most premium, luxury collection ever from Disney Couture, the collaboration with London based fashion accessories designer Mawi set the world by storm! Minnie Mawi offers a beautiful and chic collection in homage to the Disney pin-up herself â Minnie Mouse. Featuring Lanvin-esque ribbon necklaces, bold stud earrings and chunky gold and pearl bracelets, this collection is cute, yet extremely fashionable and en vogue. With celebrity fans such as Kelly Rowland, Jessie J and fashion blogger extraordinaire Bip Ling these collectable items should take pride of place in any Disney fan's collection. With new collections added every couple of months we are always excited to see what is coming next and which pieces we would like to add to our special collections. We have heard VERY reliable rumours of more Icon pieces with twinkling snow globe themes and Cinderella carriages, and also a special Winnie The Pooh collection. Not a word though...
