Cheese and Ham! It's the weekend already!

Lurking through the great abyss, stalking our prey and its every moment, we'll duck, dash and cover with the poise of a snow leopard as we get ever closer to our prize. Never breaking concentration, we'll deliberately place each step while creeping up on this weekends top movie moments before striking as swiftly as possible to capture our goal of celluloid wonder.

SATURDAY 25th OCTOBER

The Aviator (1985) MGM Channel 2:35pm-4:10pm (1 hour 35 minutes)

A 1920s pilot haunted by his experiences in the First World War begrudgingly agrees to take a wealthy banker's daughter as a passenger on a cross-country flight. When a crash leaves them stranded in the wilderness, the combative pair must work together to survive. Adventure, starring Christopher Reeve and Rosanna Arquette.

The Parent Trap (1961) Film4 3:00pm-5:40pm (2 hours 40 minutes)

When twins sisters meet for the first time at summer camp, they decide it is high time their estranged parents got back together again, and hatch an ingenious plan to reunite them by swapping places with each other. Disney comedy, starring Hayley Mills in a dual role as both sisters, alongside Maureen O'Hara, Brian Keith and Leo G Carroll.

Jurassic Park III (2001) ITV London 4:20pm-6:00pm (1 hour 40 minutes)

Palaeontologist Dr Alan Grant is lured to a dinosaur-infested island by a divorced couple who offer to fund his research, unaware their real motive is to find their missing son - and that the creatures on the island are far more intelligent than anyone suspected. Action adventure sequel, starring Sam Neill, William H Macy, Tea Leoni and Alessandro Nivola.

Back to the Future Part II (1989) ITV2 8:00pm-10:10pm (2 hours 10 minutes)

Time-travelling teenager Marty McFly travels to the 21st century, where he has to save his children from a terrible fate. However, this proves to have unforeseen consequences when the future version of arch enemy Biff sees a chance to rewrite history for his own benefit, leaving Marty stuck in a twisted parallel universe. Sci-fi comedy sequel, starring Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd.

Crocodile Dundee (1986) Sky Movies Comedy 7:00pm-8:50pm (1 hour 50 minutes)

A New York reporter searches the Australian Outback for a maverick hunter with a legendary reputation, and invites the adventurer back to America. But the die-hard Aussie needs to draw on all his survival skills to adjust to life in the urban jungle. Comedy adventure, written by and starring Paul Hogan, with Linda Kozlowski, John Meillon and Mark Blum.

Office Space (1999) Film4 9:00pm-10:45pm (1 hour 45 minutes)

A jaded computer programmer goes to bizarre lengths to get fired from his dull job - but his new laid-back attitude leads to unexpected promotions as his arrogance is taken for supreme self-confidence by unwitting bosses. Satirical comedy, starring Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, Ajay Naidu and Gary Cole.

Hocus Pocus (1993) Film4 1:00pm-2:55pm (1 hour 55 minutes)

A teenager in Salem, Massachusetts, breaks into a spooky house on Halloween and accidentally resurrects three witches who have been dead for 300 years. The sorceresses are soon causing chaos while seeking a suitable sacrifice for a ritual to give them eternal youth. However, an old foe - a boy they turned into a cat - is on hand to help stop their mischief. Supernatural Disney comedy, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Omri Katz.

Jurassic Park (1993) ITV2 3:05pm-5:40pm (2 hours 35 minutes)

Scientists are given a sneak preview of a safari park inhabited by genetically engineered dinosaurs created by an eccentric tycoon. However, it all goes wrong when a greedy employee sabotages the security systems, allowing the prehistoric beasts to roam free and hunt the visitors. Steven Spielberg's action adventure, starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough and Samuel L Jackson.

The Secret of My Success (1987) ITV3 3:05pm-5:20pm (2 hours 15 minutes)

A naive country boy travels to New York to make his fortune, only to end up working in a corporation's mail room. He chances on a vacant office and hatches a plan to pass himself off as a top-ranking executive, but leading a double life proves harder than expected. Comedy, starring Michael J Fox, Helen Slater, Richard Jordan and Fred Gwynne.

Kindergarten Cop (1990) Sky Movies Comedy 3:35pm-5:35pm (2 hours)

A tough detective is forced to pose as a preschool teacher in a bid to capture a drug dealer whose son is one of the pupils. However, his biggest challenge turns out to be controlling a class full of five-year-olds. Comedy, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Penelope Ann Miller, Linda Hunt, Pamela Reed and Richard Tyson.

The Goonies (1985) Channel 5 4:10pm-6:20pm (2 hours 10 minutes)

Seven youngsters discover an old map and set out on the adventure of a lifetime to save their homes from a land developer by finding a legendary pirate's hidden treasure. However, they first have to navigate a series of booby-trapped underground caverns and outwit a family of crooks also after the loot. Children's adventure, starring Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin and Martha Plimpton.

Parenthood (1989) ITV3 10:00pm-12:30am (2 hours 30 minutes)

Anxious family man Gil Buckman is determined to have a better relationship with his three children than he had with his tough father. Elsewhere, his two sisters are also having family problems - one is struggling to understand her two troubled teenagers, while the other's husband wants to turn their toddler into a child genius. Comedy drama, starring Steve Martin, Keanu Reeves, Mary Steenburgen, Jason Robards and Dianne Wiest.

Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) Film4 11:10pm-1:15am (2 hours 5 minutes)

Maverick cop Axel Foley returns to Los Angeles when an investigation into a colleague's murder leads him to a Hollywood theme park. He enlists the help of old ally Rosewood to prove the resort is a cover for a major counterfeiting ring connected to a terrorist conspiracy. Comedy adventure sequel, starring Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, Theresa Randle and Bronson Pinchot.

Whatever you're up to this weekend, always remember to put the right disc back in the right box and sometimes a spoon is all you need.
