TruffleShuffle Insider: Meet…Charlie
Hello Internet travellers! Yes we're right back at you with another edition of our oh-so insightful TruffleShuffle insider blog posts where we take one unsuspecting TruffleShuffler and put them in the spotlight for just a few moments.
This week we're taking a quick glimpse into the world of our newest team member, customer services heroine Charlie! Take it away....

What do you do here at Truffle Towers?
I'm Michelle's minion, helping out with the customer service side of things. I start the day by responding to all your lovely emails, answering any enquiries that come in via the site, process customer exchanges and refunds and pretty much whatever else I can to help out. I only work part time as I have my four year old daughter to looked after too.

How long have you been at TruffleShuffle?
I started here in July last year having previously worked in sales for a heating and plumbing distributor for seven years.

What do you like most about working here / best thing about your job?
Apart from TruffleShuffle being the most awesome place I have ever worked, everyone here is super nice and the products we sell are simply amazing (a far cry from boilers and pallets of radiators!)
I love the variation of customer's enquiries we receive as no two days are ever the same.

What is your favourite item currently on the site?
I have to admit I love all the Care Bears and My Little Pony designs we have and being able to watch the cartoons again with my little girl is ace. My favourite top at the moment is the Care Bears Racerback vest....
When youâre not at TruffleTowers, what do you like to do?
I love spending time with my daughter, she is my little ray of sunshine. She's just starting to read and write and it's so rewarding teaching her and seeing the progress. I took up cycling last year and would love to take part in a Triathlon this year (lots of training needs to be done however and I can't wait for the warmer weather to get out on the bike again).

Going to the gym, Motorbikes (especially my ZX7R), and English Bull Terriers.
Name three things you donât likeâ¦.
Getting up in the morning, crunchy peanut butter, dishonest and rude people.

What were your favourite three films as a kid?
Got to be Labyrinth, Short Circuit and Stand By Me.
Who is your idol?
Larissa Reis, pro fitness model.

Who is the last band you saw live?
I've not seen a band in ages but the last artist I saw was Pink on her Funhouse tour in 2009 at the Birmingham NEC. I also took my dad to see Tina Turner that year too, she definitely deserves a mention as she's an absolute legend!

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Las Vegas! I've been once before but I'd love to go back there again.

Which iconic TV/Film car would you most like to own?
Can I choose a motorcycle instead? I'd love the Batcycle from Batman please.
What music are you listening to at the moment?
Whatever is on the radio when I get in the car. I usually switch between Radio 1, KISS and Heart FM. Plus when I'm in the gym I listen to whatever banging tunes I have on my phone.

If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
'No Pain, No Gain!'

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
I'd give a lot to charity, there are several that are very close to my heart and lots more that if I had more money I would definitely want to make a difference to.
If I won enough that I didn't have to work again, I'd spend the day in the gym or cycling with my fella. It would be nice to be able to go on nice holidays too.
