Amazing, Cult Movie Tees
There's nothing we like better than snuggling up on the sofa under a blanket with a huge bucket of salty popcorn watching old school movies when the rain is pounding down outside! Our love of all the cult classics, has fed our insatiable desire to buy as many amazing movie tees as possible. Here is a little glimpse of some of the highlights.
The 80's heralded the arrival of a group of teens who made a massive impact on the movies of the day. Stars such as Matthew Broderick, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy,Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Emilio Estevez acted out their angst in a series of coming of age films.
I Wish I Could Draw Something.....!
Here at TruffleShuffle.com we have become slightly addicted to Draw Something this week! For any of you not yet in the know about this new craze that is our latest obsession, basically it is an online form of the drawing game Pictionary. You are given a word and while you draw it on your phone screen or computer your friends have to guess the word you are drawing (well, trying!)
We thought our efforts were pretty good till we found these amazing masterpieces which quite frankly make our 'pictures' look more like colourful scribbles!
Drawsome Drawings on Tumblr has an awesome gallery dedicated to Draw Something works of art so we thought we would share some of our favourites with you including Lion King, Hello Kitty, Darth Vader, Pokemon and Superman hopefully inspire your future Draw Something creations!
We also found this amazing collection of Drawsome Batman inspired pics, including Batman and PacMan, Batman and Mario - click here to see what else Batman has been getting up to in the world of Draw Something!
We can't help thinking that if we were playing with some of these fab artists, the guessing part would become a whole lot easier!
Sesame Street characters in a whole new light!
This past friday The Seventh Letter and Neff Headwear put on an exhibition in Known Gallery in Los Angeles, CA dedicated to one of our favourite shows, Sesame Street!
With appearances from Elmo, Oscar The Grouch, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Grover and Count Von Count, everyones favourites Sesame Street residents were represented. They were bought to life from a great variety of artists such as Tyke, Sage Vaughn, Dabs & Myla, Mr Cartoon, Eric Dressen and many more.
I really admire all the different interpretations of all the characters we know and love, there's some really cool and unusual stuff. The exhibition has now closed and was also a bit too far away for me to visit unfortunately, but I'm loving the chance to browse through these photos, wish I could have been there!
Go Cartoon Crazy at TruffleShuffle.
Being a nipper in the 80s means that cartoons were a pretty big part of my T.V viewing. So needless to say cartoons related products are probably my favourite genre on TruffleShuffle. With so many fantastic licenses and designs to choose from picking one favourite product would be next to impossible. So I thought I would show you my Top 10 products but it actually ended up being my Top 13?!?!?
From early memories of watching Long-Distance Clara on Pigeon Street to running round using Sight-beyond-Sight like Lion-O with my sister pretending to be Snarf from the Thundercats, all the products below jog fantastic memories for me, hopefully they do for you too.....
