The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 153
Stuffed crust! It's only the weekend again....yep really!
Like an keen and greatly experienced pizza chef working their magic before the super-hot oven, we find ourselves once again with a whole weekends worth of retro-tastic movie toppings to select from to help layer up and bake our perfect weekend. We'll pop on some spicy romance, some slithers of thickly cut and perfectly aged plot, a dash of action and of course plenty of cheese before nicely toasting in the oven. We'll be left feeling full but ever so replete after stuffing ourselves on some of the best this weekend has to offer.
Have a happy retro weekend.

Beermats and bottle tops! It's only the bloomin weekend already!
Heading out way to the local beer garden to enjoy some sweet evening sunshine, we'll enter the garden of Eden that soothes our end of week woes with spirits high as we search for the few remaining spots of sunshine to set up base camp for the evening.
We'll reminisce of stories past, get the latest with the dating gossip from the group or perhaps just end up discussing some of the weirdest and most wonderful topics imaginable before heading home and snuggling up on the sofa to catch some of the most retro cinematic wonder that was ever created.
Have a happy retro weekend!

Cheese and crackers! Is it really the weekend. Let's celebrate in style!
With all the finest of guests adorning some of the very classiest attire, we'll schmooze our way around the cocktail party, chatting to some of the great and good of the local area.
Heading to the bar, we'll check our pocket watch and adjust our tie before tipping the bar keep for his hard work and experience in creating our latest creation of only the finest spirits and mixers. We'll sip our drink slowly before heading to the floor to capture even more of the nights greatness like a camera capturing a movies celluloid magic.
Have a happy retro weekend!

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Teenagers in a small town are dropping like flies, apparently in the grip of mass hysteria causing their suicides. A cop's daughter (Heather Langenkamp) traces the cause to child molester Fred Krueger (Robert Englund), who was burned alive by angry parents many years before. Krueger has now come back in the dreams of his killers' children, claiming their lives as his revenge. With a supporting cast that includes horror veterans like John Saxon and Ronee Blakley, director Wes Craven creates moments of real dread by examining the line between nightmares and reality, as well as the "sins of the parents" theme. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
