With 2018 well and truly kick-off and our first taste of the movie coolness already with Early Man, Maze Runner: The Death Cure and more, we thought we would take some time to look ahead and see just what other gems we have coming out way.

With plenty to look forward to, check out our top movie picks for 2018 peeps!

Ready Player One

Taking the literary world by storm in 2011, Ready Player One will now enter a whole new realm as it becomes a big budget movie that looks as epic as we could have hoped! Co-produced/directed by the mighty Steven Spielberg and written by Zak Penn (The Avengers, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men: The Last Stand) and original novel writer Ernest Cline, it's not hard to see just why there is such a buzz around this release. So what's it all about?

Set in the year 2044, the story kicks off when the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, but leaving behind a video where he challenges users of OASIS to hunt and find his hidden Easter Egg which will reward them with all of his vast fortunes. Our main character Wade Watts finds himself with the first clue and the race is now on!

It's Here! Deadpool Is Out Today! Are You Ready?

Well....the big day we've ALLLLL been waiting for is finally here folks! Yep the long awaited and super anticipated Marvel superhero film hits our big screens here in the UK today and well.....we're pretty darn excited!

Now, there is no denying Deadpool's perhaps slightly chequered big screen movie past, BUT there's also no denying just what and amazing character he is and what a gem of the Marvel universe he's grown to be. Featuring with the X-Men in their comics from only the early 90s, Deadpool certainly broke the mould along with the fourth wall with his perhaps sliiightly twisted sense of humour and of course super healing ability much like his buddy Wolverine. A human experiment gone wrong, Deadpool would quickly become something of an icon and certainly a character who stood out from the pack.

Getting a new lease of life this year, this new big screen adventure sees Special Forces operative Wade Wilson played by Ryan Reynolds *swoooon* undergo a rogue experiment which leaves him disfigured and the ability to heal super-fast. A shift in look and ability helps him create and alter ego with a warped mind and lack of fear which enables him to better hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Will he do it? Will he find justice?

Take a peep at the official trailer...

Jumping around like a kid at Christmas, we're sure this amazing new installment of this classic character will live up to the expectations and hopefully bring this epic character to a whole new audience and scratch the Deadpool itch of all us old school fans.

So....are YOU ready?? Get into the Marvel mood in style with our huge range of Superhero TShirts and goodies from just £9.99!

Our Top Films To Watch in 2016!

Can you believe it's time for another one of these?! Each year just flies past quicker than the last, but each year we gain even more amazing films to add to our collection and we sure hope the fun never ends!

As big movie lovers (does our huge range of Movie Merchandise make that pretty obvious? Darn!) we really love getting to see some of the best characters ever created once again hit the big screen in always bigger, more exciting and of course more and more detailed and realistic effects than ever before.

2016 is quickly shaping up to be yet another amazing year with some really breath taking and massively anticipated films being released into the wild. So what can we expect from 2016? Well…. it turns out a whoooooole lot.

Take a peep at some of our top films to watch out for in 2016….

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Pretty much as good as life gets! Certainly not your average action-packed superhero film (if there is such a thing?), 2016 will of course bring us this huuuugely anticipated and debated Batman v Superman film! Now those of you who caught the epic 2013 Man of Steel would have perhaps noticed just how much carnage Superman caused, well it seems this sort of chaos certainly caught the eye of Batman himself. Fearing Superman may be out of control, Batman steps in to put it to a stop causing mankind to begin to decide just what sort of hero has a place in our world. With a new and very real threat from Lex Luthor, can Superman and Batman put aside their differences to save the world once again? - Coming March 25th.
