Ever since its release back in 2003, Elf has been a part of every Christmas for us. Bringing Buddy back into our lives once again filling us with Christmas joy, we simply can't imagine a Christmas film list that doesn't include this Will Ferrel classic!

His unstoppable charm and spirit have come to be a staple in many homes over the festive season reminding us of that little kid inside all of us who just loves decorations, Christmas trees, gifts and of course SUGAR!

Just before we all settle town to tuck into this modern classic (if you haven't already!), why not take a peep at our 10 Things You Didn't Know About The Movie Elf so you can annoy wow all your fellow viewers. Enjoy!

O Christmas Tee, O Christmas Tee!

Tees the season folks! With Halloween now but a distant memory, and fireworks night barely ringing in our ears, it much be time to start the Christmas preparations! Yep that's scary to us too...

Possibly something that's almost just as good as Christmas itself...it is of course Christmas movies! Yep they give us that warm feeling that everything's a little different at this special time of year, the birds sing a little louder, people smile just that little bit wider and kids everywhere go just that extra bit more huper! Oh the joy!

To help us celebrate these classic flicks and to let us enjoy them just that little bit more, check out some pretty cool facts we've found out about some of the nation's top Christmas films in our '10 Things You Didn't Know About Your Top Christmas Films.' Enjoy!

1) Miracle on 34th Street: The scenes of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade are actually taken from the 1946 parade. The movie is credited with bringing the traditional parade to the national spotlight, and Macy’s employees were given half a day off so they could see the first showing of the movie.

2) Home Alone: In the scene where chief bad guy played by Joe Pesci bites Kevin's finger, he actually bit harder than expected and left Macaulay with a scar he has to this day.

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 32!

Dasher, Dancer, Cupid, Prancer, Comet, Vixen, Donner and Blitzen it must be the Weekend!

So in a snowy field dressed up snug and warm in woolly hats, gloves and scarves let us be your gang of friends as we gather and roll as much snow as we can to build an epic mountain of frosty retro greatness, prepare to stand back in cinematic snowy awe for a full on filmy snowball fight.
