A headstrong chicken and her fellow fowls ponder how to escape from a grim Yorkshire farm before the evil farmer's wife can turn them into pies. Luckily, help arrives in the form of a heroic American rooster who promises to show them how to fly. Nick Park's animated comedy, with the voices of Mel Gibson, Julia Sawalha, Miranda Richardson and Jane Horrocks.

The lucky little tots embark on a trip to a French theme park - but while the rest of the gang are intent on enjoying themselves, Chuckie is distracted by his wish for a new mum. He sets his sights on the owner of the amusement park as a prospective partner for his single dad. The teenage detective and his future sidekick Watson meet for the first time at boarding school. The death of Holmes's mentor sets the youngsters on their first case, and they discover that former members of an archaeological survey team have died under suspicious circumstances - pointing to a sinister Egyptian cult using hallucinogenic poisons to kill its victims. Adventure, starring Nicholas Rowe, Alan Cox and Sophie Ward.

Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) BBC One 4:30pm-5:50pm

Inventor Wallace and his canine sidekick Gromit have set up a pest control service, and are called in to stop rabbits overrunning a garden show. However, the pair are overwhelmed when a destructive giant bunny arrives on the scene, while an interfering aristocrat contrives to make matters worse. Nick Park's Oscar-winning animated adventure, with the voices of Peter Sallis, Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter.

Crisps and dip at the ready! It's another retro movie filled weekend folks. Let's tuck in...

Like many of you retro movie lovers in the land, we spend a lot of our time waiting for a special delivery. Sometimes it's some classic retro 80s clothing, sometimes it's that new tap you're had to replace (exciting!), however sometimes, juuuust sometimes it's something a whole lot more amazing and wondiferous! When it arrives, you're so excited and relieved that you completely forget all the drama, heartache and frustration that came in the moments before. Being completely overwhelmed with emotions and joy at the sight of your shiny new thing and what it will mean. Some deliveries are good, some a great and some are simply the best things ever...
