Is it really the weekend already? Well... if you say so! Having a good old rummage through our remaining tasty treats, we're digging out the rest of our Christmas goodies to feast on while we tuck into some of our total movie faves. Let's see what's on the menu!
SATURDAY 9th January
Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) ITV4 11:05am-1:00pm
The would-be heavy metal superstars face the Grim Reaper as they try to reclaim their souls from Hell, return to the land of the living and stop their robot doppelgangers from changing history. Along the way, they must also master their instruments, so they can triumph at the Battle of the Bands. Comedy sequel, starring Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, William Sadler, Joss Ackland and George Carlin.

Flight of the Navigator (1986) Film4 1:20pm-3:20pm
A boy mysteriously disappears in 1978 and is found eight years later, having not aged a day. He escapes being experimented on by government scientists by taking off in a crashed alien spaceship. With the help of the robot pilot, he tries to find out what has happened to him and if he can get back home. Sci-fi adventure, starring Joey Cramer and Veronica Cartwright, with the voice of Paul Reubens.

Three mismatched prehistoric animals join forces to return a human infant to its tribe - but as their journey unfolds, the creatures fail to anticipate the many perils and pitfalls that lay in store for them. The reported death of a pilot during the Second World War leaves his girlfriend seeking solace in the arms of his one-time best friend - until the supposedly dead airman turns up. However, when the Japanese launch a bombing raid on a US base in Hawaii, the three of them have to put aside their personal problems. A mild-mannered doctor sets up practice in a small town, but a cloud gathers over his career due to a series of unexplained deaths. Before long, he has to convince the locals that a horde of venomous spiders is responsible and confront his intense fear of arachnids into the bargain. Daffy Duck tires of playing second fiddle to Bugs Bunny, so sets off to seek his fortune. He ends up helping a would-be stuntman rescue his screen idol father, in reality, a secret agent, who has been kidnapped by the deranged chairman of the Acme Corporation. Live-action and animated comedy, with Brendan Fraser, Steve Martin, Timothy Dalton and Jenna Elfman.

Christmas with the Kranks (2004) Channel 5 11:25am-2:05pm
A married couple from Chicago decide to steer clear of the usual festive celebrations and keep their cash for a holiday in the sun, prompting a busybody neighbour to call on the local community to pull out all the stops to make them change their minds. A festive comedy based on a novel by John Grisham, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Tim Allen, Dan Aykroyd and M Emmet Walsh.

It's finally here folks! The next instalment or threequel we've waited an entire 29 years for... (woah!) has finally hit cinemas today and we totally didn't forget to wind our watches so we don't miss it!
