And just like that... the retro movie rundown is back for another week! Packed with familiar faces and more laughts and action than you would possibly shake a stick it, it's officially time to kick back and enjoy some of these total classics. Enjoy!

SATURDAY 19th January

Gold (1974) Sony Movie Channel 1:05pm-3:45pm

A South African engineer is appointed a general manager of a gold mine and exposes a conspiracy to boost the price of the ore by drilling into an underground lake beneath where the company is digging, causing a devastating flood. Action adventure based on a novel by Wilbur Smith, starring Roger Moore, Susannah York, Ray Milland, Bradford Dillman and John Gielgud.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) ITV2 3:15pm-5:55pm

The young wizard struggles to convince his fellow sorcerers that the evil Lord Voldemort has returned to life. When Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore is ousted in favour of a sadistic replacement, Harry realises he must take matters into his own hands, uniting his fellow pupils to form a secret army and training them for the inevitable confrontation to come. Fantasy adventure sequel, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Gary Oldman, Michael Gambon and Alan Rickman.

Hello weekend...I've been expecting you.

If you didn't use your best Bond villain voice whilst reading that intro, what are you even doing here? It's the weekend. Kick off those shoes, dive head first into your slippers and watch some pretty fantastic TV. Pop the kettle on love.

SATURDAY 24th February

Look Who's Talking Too (1990) Sony Movie Channel 9:00am-10:40am (1 hour, 40 minutes)

Mischievous toddler Mikey is joined by his baby sister Julie and sibling rivalry inevitably erupts! While their parents have problems of their own to deal with, in the shape of the kids' good-for-nothing uncle. Comedy sequel, starring John Travolta and Kirstie Alley, with the voices of Bruce Willis and Rosanne Barr. An awesome one for all the family!

The Hound of Baskervilles (1983) True Movies 11:00am-1:00pm (2 hours) Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson set out to protect the last remaining member of the aristocratic Baskerville family, who believes he is being persecuted by a monstrous spectral hound roaming the bleak Devon moors. Adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's mystery thriller, starring Ian Richardson, Donald Churchill, Denholm Elliott, Martin Shaw and Brian Blessed. Sign us up!

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 272

Deck the halls and pour some drinks! With a healthy sized mince pie and a snifter of mulled wine, we find ourselves all of a sudden... in Christmas! With festive lights bringing our local streets to life and the smell of freshly baked goods with cinnamon lingering in the air, we quickly begin to wrap presents and write cards as we get festive season ready!

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 250

Sweet home Alabama! Another weekend is here which means...... time for our Retro Movie Rundown!!

Drilling, welding, stitching and gluing our way to soap box building glory, we find ourselves dragging our Frankenstein's monster like creation to the top of our nearest and biggest hill. Pausing for a moment to take one final look at our creation in all it's glory, we'll then launch our way down the course, hitting ramps and nailing corners as we go. Will we beat the pack or will we just beat our creation into more parts then we began with? Only time will tell. Chocks away!

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 249

Crisps and dip at the ready! It's another retro movie filled weekend folks. Let's tuck in...

Like many of you retro movie lovers in the land, we spend a lot of our time waiting for a special delivery. Sometimes it's some classic retro 80s clothing, sometimes it's that new tap you're had to replace (exciting!), however sometimes, juuuust sometimes it's something a whole lot more amazing and wondiferous! When it arrives, you're so excited and relieved that you completely forget all the drama, heartache and frustration that came in the moments before. Being completely overwhelmed with emotions and joy at the sight of your shiny new thing and what it will mean. Some deliveries are good, some a great and some are simply the best things ever...
