SATURDAY 8th May

Bee Movie (2007) Film4 2:55pm-4:55pm
A bee wearies of a life dedicated to producing honey and decides to leave his hive. During his foray into the wider world, he befriends a florist. However, when he realises what becomes of the honey his species toils so hard to make, he resolves to sue the entire human race for stealing from his fellow-creatures. Animated comedy, with the voices of Jerry Seinfeld, Renee Zellweger and Chris Rock.

Oliver! (1968) Sony Movies Classic 3:40pm-6:35pm
The Oscar-winning musical version of the stage play based on Charles Dickens’ classic tale about a lonely workhouse orphan who ends up on the cold streets of London, where he falls under the wing of petty crook Fagin and his gang of young backstreet thieves. Featuring the iconic songs Food, Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, As Long as He Needs Me and You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two. Starring Ron Moody, Mark Lester, Oliver Reed, Jack Wild, Harry Secombe, Shani Wallis and Leonard Rossiter.

Mr Bean’s Holiday (2007) ITV2 5:25pm-7:15pm
The bumbling fool wins first prize in the church raffle – a trip to France and a video camera. His travels cause chaos as he disrupts a film shoot in Cannes, to the fury of its megalomaniac director, and is then accused of kidnapping a youngster. Comedy, starring Rowan Atkinson, Willem Dafoe, Emma de Caunes and Max Baldry.

Robin Hood (1990) Sony Movies 6:50pm-9:00pm
A Saxon nobleman is declared an outlaw for protecting a poacher from a cruel Norman knight. Hiding out in a forest, he recruits a group of bandits and leads them in a campaign against the corrupt Norman aristocracy, while also fighting to save his friend’s niece from being forced into marriage. Adventure, starring Patrick Bergin and Uma Thurman.

Now, we know many of you will be planning some outdoor adventures if you can, but… you’ll need to kick back and put your feet up at some point, right? Addams Family Values (1993) 5STAR 4:25pm-6:20pm
Spooky couple Gomez and Morticia hire a nanny to look after their new baby son – and stop him from suffering an early death at the hands of his jealous elder siblings. Romance soon blossoms between the new childminder and Uncle Fester, but he does not realise she is planning to kill him once she has got hold of the family fortune. Comedy sequel, starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci and Joan Cusack.

The hapless fool is employed as a security guard for a British art gallery and is sent to Los Angeles to bring back a famous painting. Unfortunately, he finds himself mistaken for a renowned art professor and invited to make an important presentation. Mel Smith’s British comedy, starring Rowan Atkinson, Burt Reynolds, Peter MacNicol, John Mills, Peter Capaldi and June Brown.

The Mask of Zorro (1998) 5STAR 6:20pm-9:00pm
The sword-wielding saviour of Spanish California returns after 20 years in prison, tutoring a thief to take over his heroic role and tackle corrupt government officials, who are using slave labour to mine gold illegally. Both mentor and pupil have personal scores to settle with their enemies, led by a ruthless governor and a psychotic military officer. Swashbuckling adventure, with Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Grease (1978) E4 6:50pm-9:00pm
Rebellious American teenager Danny falls for innocent Australian girl Sandy during the summer holidays, but when he later finds out she is a new student at his school, he risks losing her love by trying to act cool in front of his friends. A romantic musical set in the 1950s, starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, Didi Conn and Sid Caesar.

The lucky little tots embark on a trip to a French theme park – but while the rest of the gang are intent on enjoying themselves, Chuckie is distracted by his wish for a new mum. He sets his sights on the owner of the amusement park as a prospective partner for his single dad.
