My Top Five 80s Movie Intros...
1. Top Gun
Top Gun has one of the best 80âs movie opening scenes. It's got F14 jets taking off, the Top Gun anthem, "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins playing and then straight into the action with Maverick and Goose.
In the film, Charlieâs old man date was the real life "Viper", Pete Pettigrew. He was a Top Gun instructor and retired Navy pilot, and served as the technical consultant on the film.
2. Rocky 4
I always loved the way Rocky 4 started; itâs basically just a re-cap of what happened at the end of 3, but starts with two giant boxing gloves crashing together and then cutting to the recap, and it has "Eye Of The Tiger" playing!
According to Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Carl Weathers really did not get along and got into an altercation during filming. Lundgren threw Weathers across the ring before it was broken up (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089927/trivia).

5 80's Films That Really Need a Sequel!
I'm a MASSIVE fan of retro movies and 80's film tshirts. Nothing excited me more as a kid than when I found out that my favourite film was coming back with a sequel - even more exciting when I was treated time and time again - like Back to the Future and Rocky!
So when the 2's, 3's and 4's started drying up and the classic 80's sequels began to dwindle, it dawned on me that the films I dreamt of and wished for may never come. Twenty years later, and here's the top five I'm still desperate to see made...
Goonies 2
Goonies had to be number one for us here at TruffleShuffle, weâd all love to see the original cast and crew make another one.
What would it be about? It's rumoured the sequel could be about the Goonies own children having an adventure, maybe some sort of holiday reunion for the original characters and maybe them getting into trouble and their kids having to save them.
Whatever itâs about... if they make one, weâll be there!
Amazing, Cult Movie Tees
There's nothing we like better than snuggling up on the sofa under a blanket with a huge bucket of salty popcorn watching old school movies when the rain is pounding down outside! Our love of all the cult classics, has fed our insatiable desire to buy as many amazing movie tees as possible. Here is a little glimpse of some of the highlights.
The 80's heralded the arrival of a group of teens who made a massive impact on the movies of the day. Stars such as Matthew Broderick, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy,Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Emilio Estevez acted out their angst in a series of coming of age films.
