A family of four-inch-high people living beneath the floorboards of an ordinary human home help the owner's son fight back when a dastardly lawyer plans to demolish the house and make way for a luxury apartment block. The working day for two mismatched single professionals is thrown into turmoil when their children have to stay at home after missing a school trip. The pair agree to take it in turns to babysit while struggling to stick to their hectic schedules - but during the course of the day their feelings for each other blossom unexpectedly. Stepmom (1998) Sony Movies 1:05pm-3:40pm

A successful photographer marries a divorced businessman with two children, but has a hard time adapting to her new role as a stepmother - a task made all the more difficult by the hostile attitude of his ex-wife. However, a tragedy unexpectedly brings the two women closer together. Drama, starring Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Ed Harris, Jena Malone and Liam Aiken.

Bean (1997) 5STAR 2:15pm-4:00pm

The hapless fool is employed as a security guard for a British art gallery and is sent to Los Angeles to bring back a famous painting. Unfortunately, he finds himself mistaken for a renowned art professor and invited to make an important presentation. Mel Smith's British comedy, starring Rowan Atkinson, Burt Reynolds, Peter MacNicol, John Mills, Peter Capaldi and June Brown.

Goosebumps (2015) Channel 5 4:20pm-6:15pm

A teenager discovers his new neighbour is the writer of a popular series of books, who harbours a terrifying secret. The ghosts and monsters the author writes about are real, and his stories keep them contained. The youngster accidentally releases them into the real world and has to find a way to get them back in the books before they can cause chaos. Fantasy adventure, starring Jack Black and Dylan Minnette.

Tis that time again readers! We're swinging from branch to branch through the thick jungle of movies this weekend to grab onto and highlight the very best retro classics out there. Will you be swinging by and of these?

Big Daddy (1999) 5STAR 12:35pm-2:25pm

An immature 32-year-old is heartbroken when his girlfriend walks out on him. In a plan to win her back, he volunteers to look after his flatmate's five-year-old son, thus demonstrating he is finally ready to grow up. However, his ideas of childcare prove unconventional and chaos quickly ensues. Comedy, with Adam Sandler, Joey Lauren Adams, Jon Stewart, Josh Mostel, Leslie Mann, Rob Schneider and Kristy Swanson, alongside Steve Buscemi in a cameo role.

The Witches (1990) ITV 1:15pm-3:00pm

A boy goes on holiday with his grandmother to a seaside hotel hosting a convention of witches, who have come together to hear their leader's plan to turn all the children in England into mice. When the chief hag discovers the young lad eavesdropping at their meeting, she decides to make him one of her first victims. Children's fantasy directed by Nicolas Roeg, based on the book by Roald Dahl, and starring Anjelica Huston, Mai Zetterling, Jasen Fisher, Jane Horrocks, Rowan Atkinson and Brenda Blethyn.

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 228

Well jump for joy and sing out a tune! It's only another retro movie weekend full of tales, adventure and a pinch of romance for good measure.

So! Like one of the worlds most skilled and experienced treasure hunters, we find ourselves in front of an ancient chest adorned with an oh-so intricate lock. Taking note of the mysterious shapes and signs that make up it's combination, we'll dig from our many year of learning to twist, click and push out way ever closer to the correct combination. Like this very retro movie weekend, we're aching to bust it open and reveal all the hidden retro movie treasures that could lay inside.

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 227

Flurry and slush! Another retro movie weekend is before us and boy is it a beauty!

Waking up bright and early like the many days before, we slowly ease ourselves into the day with a hot cuppa and a cold milky bowl of something sweet. Stretching out the front door into the bitter cold and blistery winds, we are greeted with what we would describe as the worlds most iced up windscreen ever. Chipping and scraping away at the stubborn cold layer of doom, we'll begin to see our efforts pay off and just in time before all feeling from our hands is lost.

Our Top Films Turning 20 in 2016!

With another year of epic films gone and certainly plenty in the year ahead to look forward to, we thought we would take a quick trip down memory lane and remember some pretty familiar films that will be turning a cool 20 years old! Scary we know.

Now, some of these might shock, amaze or perhaps just make you realise how old things (and you are). We certainly fall in the latter category!

So! Take a little trip down memory lane with us and take a peep at some of our favourite films that were released way back in 1996 which is weirdly not only ten years ago despite what our mind like to make us think sometimes. Enjoy!
