Directed and written by one of our heroes Quentin Tarantino, Pulp Fiction connects the intersecting storylines of Los Angeles mobsters, fringe players, small-time criminals, and a super mysterious briefcase. A lot of the screen time is devoted to conversations and monologues that reveal the characters' senses of humor and perspectives on life. Known for its slightly different film style which became slightly fragmented story telling style of the different characters, Pulp Fiction was widely considered the most influential American movie of the 1990s you know.

Well, anywho we're sure you guys have certainly seen it once or twice in your time and could tell us even more reasons to love it, so we've decided to search the web and pick out some cool lesser-known facts about this movie masterpiece that might shock, amaze or simply have you wanting to go back and watch it once more. Check out some of our Pulp Fiction Did You Know Facts!

So why was is called Pulp Fiction? Well the film's title refers to the pulp magazines and hardboiled crime novels popular during the mid-20th century, known for their graphic violence and punchy dialogue. Pulp Fiction is self-referential from its opening moments, beginning with a title card that gives two dictionary definitions of "pulp." The plot, as in many of Tarantino's other works, is presented out of chronological sequence.
