Flurry and slush! Another retro movie weekend is before us and boy is it a beauty!

Waking up bright and early like the many days before, we slowly ease ourselves into the day with a hot cuppa and a cold milky bowl of something sweet. Stretching out the front door into the bitter cold and blistery winds, we are greeted with what we would describe as the worlds most iced up windscreen ever. Chipping and scraping away at the stubborn cold layer of doom, we'll begin to see our efforts pay off and just in time before all feeling from our hands is lost.

Like one of the most experienced and battle-hardened secret agents, we find ourselves getting geared up for another undercover mission in a far and strange land. As we pack only the very essential essentials, we'll begin to wonder who we will become and which new world we will be infiltrating to find out the biggest kept secrets. Perhaps we'll be a doctor? A potential investor or perhaps a waiter? Whoever we'll soon become, we will be leaving our current life and self behind in search of the facts, if only for a while.

Slap my thigh and tickle my side! It's another retro movie filled weekend!

With the weary Sun juuuuust starting to peep it's head through the clouds welcoming a new season and (for us anyway) a much more fun part of the year, we find ourselves peering out of the window with anticipation and excited eyes as we imagine all the wonderful things that could just be on the horizon. Like a trusty and experienced local fishmongers (bear with us), we find ourselves seeking out some of the finest retro films like that mornings catch of the day. We're looking for something that's different, beautiful with plenty of action to it that will dazzle our customers and keep them coming back for more. Keeping our selection cooler than a high school jock in a teen film, we'll display them with pride like our ever growing DVD collection before selecting the perfect specimen to help us create the perfect fish pie and retro movie night in.
