A knight sets out to slay a dragon, only to find the unhappy creature is the last of its kind. Forging an unlikely alliance, the pair embark on a mission to rid their kingdom of its tyrannical ruler. Fantasy adventure, starring Dennis Quaid, David Thewlis, Pete Postlethwaite and Julie Christie, with the voice of Sean Connery.

The Next Karate Kid (1994) 5STAR 6:45pm-9:00pm

Wise karate mentor Mr Miyagi meets the orphaned teenage grand-daughter of a soldier who once saved his life. As well as guiding her through the trials of high school and her first romance, he takes her to a Zen monastery to hone her martial arts skills. Adventure sequel, starring Pat Morita, Hilary Swank, Michael Ironside and Constance Towers.

Gladiator (2000) 5STAR 9:00pm-12:05am

Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius is a casualty of a power struggle between the corrupt Emperor Commodus and the senate. Ordered to be put to death along with his family, he escapes his would-be killers but is sold into slavery as a gladiator - and uses his fame in the arena to fight against the tyrant. Oscar-winning period epic, with Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Derek Jacobi and Oliver Reed, in his last film role.

The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) E4 9:00pm-11:00pm

Awkward teenagers Simon, Will, Jay and Neil plan a holiday to the Greek island of Crete after they finish their exams, hoping to experience drink, sex and debauchery beyond their wildest dreams. However, things do not quite work out as planned. A comedy based on the TV series, with Joe Thomas, Simon Bird, James Buckley and Blake Harrison.

High-kicking teenager Daniel accompanies his venerable mentor, Mr Miyagi when he returns to the Japanese province of Okinawa to visit his dying father. However, an old rival of Miyagi's is waiting for them, while Daniel is drawn into a vicious conflict with their enemy's own karate protege. Martial arts sequel, starring Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Yuji Okumoto.

Philadelphia (1993) Sony Movies Classic 11:45am-2:10pm

A gay lawyer is fired after contracting Aids and takes his former employers to court to prove he was discriminated against because of his condition. The only attorney he can find to represent him is a homophobic courtroom rival, who is forced to confront his prejudices as the case unfolds and his client's health deteriorates. Drama, starring an Oscar-winning Tom Hanks, with Denzel Washington and Antonio Banderas.

Chocolat (2000) Sony Movies 3:05pm-5:25pm

A woman and her daughter move to a sleepy French village in 1959 and brazenly open a chocolate shop directly opposite the Catholic parish church during Lent. At first, the locals are enraged and appalled, but her confections soon raise spirits in the community, especially among the wives. Drama adapted from Joanne Harris's novel, with Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp, Alfred Molina and Judi Dench.

Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) BBC One 4:30pm-6:15pm

Alice Kingsleigh has spent three years sailing the high seas. Upon her return to London from China, she returns to the magical world of Underland and takes a journey back in time to save the Mad Hatter and her friends. Fantasy adventure sequel, starring Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway.

A gang of streetwise penguins decides to escape from New York's Central Park Zoo and return to a life in the wild, but when Marty the zebra and his friends follow suit, they end up stranded in Africa on a jungle island without a clue about how to fend for themselves. A family of tiny alien spacecraft intervenes to help the residents of a run-down Manhattan brownstone tenement stop greedy developers from demolishing their homes.
