My Work Experience Week At TruffleShuffle by Lewis Jarvis
Day 1
My first day at Truffle Shuffle was fun. First, I went through my induction and health and safety briefing with Amy. After that I worked in the warehouse all day picking out orders for t-shirts and then taking them down stairs to the packing team so they could pack them and send them out to all the customers⦠it was fun. Then at 3pm I went down stairs to supervise Royal Mailâs daily collection and help prepare the warehouse for Tuesday morning.
Day 2
On my second day, I spent two hours browsing the website and familiarizing myself with the products, then I had a good read of the blog and all social media, then Pat gave me a gift voucher so I could get my own t-shirt. After I did all that I created a report highlighting at least five areas that I think they can improve the website and checkout process. Then I help Ron in the warehouse restock the shelves for the rest of the day.
Day 3
My third day was a really fun day. I got to come up with my own ideas for new t-shirts. I had to choose categories from when I was five to twelve years old like games, TV, moves and bands and I think I did a really good job at that I got it all ready to present in the board room next day to Pat and Iain. Another thing I did on Wednesday was looking for 20 did you know facts relevant to our target audience.
Day 4
On my fourth day, I decided which new products need photographing and I needed to set up and perform a photo shoot. Then I spent the afternoon making some adjustments to my presentation, then after I did that I presented my ideas to Pat and Iain and they were really impressed on some of the ideas I came up with then I had to cut out and laminate recent press features from magazines and newspapers. Then to keep the front page of each publication with corresponding articles.
Day 5
My final day Friday today I have been writing this blog post and I can say that I have really enjoyed my work experience this week it was very fun for me and it has been amazing so thank you to Pat and all the Truffle Shuffle team for this week
