Blogger Round Up: Our Latest Fashion Blog Features

As you may or may not know, we really lurrrve working with blogs and bloggers who really help us to showcase our designs by taking something from the site and transforming it into something simply amazing of their own! Each blogger has their own style, ideas and of course personality which is so great for us as we can see just how you guys might style up our creations and really express yourslves.

One thing we've learnt over our many experiences with some simply amazing fashion bloggers is just how versatile a humble tee shirt is! We've seen designs look as just at home in a rocky/ grunge look as they are in a more geektastic style. We're always amazed at just how people with a keen eye see our designs and the looks they can create around them.

To show you guys just what we mean, we thought we would take a quick look back and showcase some of our latest blog features. Let's dive in!

The Little Magpie

Amy has got an splendid sense of style and we love the rock chick vibe she pulls together with our awesome Joy Division t-shirt, leather skirt, top knot and sunnies on her blog, 'The Little Magpie'!

We love TruffleShuffle tees just as much as you do!

Working for the biggest online retailer of cool t-shirts, we see our fair share of amazing tees hit the shelves...! But which ones have stuck out? Do we have a favourite..and why do we love them so much? I've grabbed 10 minutes with a few of my favourite TruffleShufflers and asked them about their fashion tee-ndencies while they've worked here, and what generally makes them tick when it comes to the world of retro! Enjoy!

First up is James, the designer for TruffleShuffle (he's the one responsible for all the cool t-shirts - so we should probably take 5 minutes to applaud his geniusness!)

Out of Print t-shirts

Favourite t-shirt ever produced? - Old Skool Gamer T-Shirt.  I've been a massive computer game fan since I was about 10, so to get the opportunity to design a T-Shirt featuring all my favourite consoles and controllers was a bit of a treat.

Favourite range you've ever designed? - Sesame Street is always really fun to work with, they've got such a versatile range of characters and we're always allowed to do quite weird and wonderful things with them.  Whether we've got Elmo and the gang crossing Abbey Road, joining a rock group or even recreating the Trainspotting movie poster they always make it look cool!

What was your first t-shirt ever purchased from TruffleShuffle? - My first T-Shirt from TruffleShuffle was one featuring Pac-Man and one of the Ghosts taking over Tokyo, it managed to look retro and modern at the same time and is still one of the favourite items in my wardrobe!  It came from Chunk clothing who are always experts in doing weird mash ups with their characters.

When Baywatch ‘wave’d goodbye to our screens! xoxo

First aired in 1989 - Baywatch was one of the coolest shows on TV! Today marks the anniversary of the last ever show back in 2001. David Hasslehoff and Pamela Anderson running round wearing very little was probably the main highlight..but putting aside the tiny bikinis, and the even tinier speedos, it was also full of action packed story lines that seemed to keep us all entertained as we were growing up. Everything from earthquakes, shark attacks - serial killers, nuclear bombs....every now and again someone would nearly drown too - just a minor theme in the show!

As we are wise owls when it comes to retro trivia - we're going to fill you in on some exciting facts relating to Baywatch!

* We sell AMAZING Baywatch T-shirts (and some pretty cool Baywatch costumes!).

* Baywatch is the brainchild of producer Gregory J. Bonann. He was a lifeguard who often worked with Michael Newman and came up with the series idea about lifeguards based on his experiences.

* Gregory pitched the idea around Hollywood for years without success until his sister married TV writer Douglas Schwartz. Douglas later teamed with Michael Berk and sold Gregory's idea to NBC.

* At its peak in the mid-90s, Baywatch was seen by over 1 billion viewers, was shown in over 144 countries in 23 different languages.

* The show drew more female viewers than male. Statistics showed that female viewership was at a dominating 65 percent!
