Yay! Weekend time again folks, Thank the god of weekends because they have packed it to the brim for us movie loving geeks. From adventuring archaeologists, teenage wizardry, shrimp boat captains, teenage romantics and firemen, it’s a fine time to stay in with us so put your feet up and completely immerse yourself in this weekends retro extravaganza. Mistletoe and wine! Another retro movie filled weekend is here folks.

Decking the halls and ringing the bells! We're busy hanging this and draping that as we skip our way around the house to the rhythm of festive tunes. We'll sprinkle a splash of this and spray a puff of...whatever that stuff is as we put the finishing touches to our ultimate festive home. Just in time for old Saint Nicholas.

Cheese and crackers! It's only another retro movie weekend full of nostalgia, fun and plenty of dodgy effects! Yep....believe it.

In a world of ever increasing screen revolutions, gigidybits, brandywidths and not forgetting those RAMs.....whatever they are, we find ourselves looking back to the past to remember the simpler times where you simply knocked on a door, popped outside to see who was 'out' and perhaps...for the braver of people, rang the landline *shiver*. Back then life wasn't through a profile or being constantly captured for people to see (thankfully!) but instead we created our very own fun. Invented games in the street, hung out in the coolest parents house (who would let us) and of course....wreaked havoc! Good times.

Snap, crackle and pop! It's only the weekend already!

With the moonlight sky being decorated with the multicolored firmly embers from it's barrage of rockets, we patiently but eagerly wait with our eyes firmly gazed at the stars for the next assault of the brightest, biggest and best fireworks in the land. Gloves, hats and coats are a must as we're transported back to our childhoods and all the wonder and delight that captured our imaginations so many years ago.
