10 Things You [Probably] Didn't Know About...Star Wars

Much like the ever-expanding universe (probably), we love to broaden our horizons and cram-pack our little busy minds full of cool facts, trivia, and insights into some of our all-time favourite films and shows. SO! to continue our ongoing quest for knowledge, we decided to dive into the weird and wonderful world of Star Wars and pluck out some cool things we find along the way to show you.

It took an impressive 6 puppeteers to operate Jabba The Hutt!



Most stormtroopers are shown to be left-handed because of the construction of their blaster rifles. Based on a real weapon, the magazine would have hit the troopers in their chest because of the design. Therefore, they had to switch grips, which might explain why they're all such terrible shots!

The Scenes That Really Shouldn't Be In Kids Films!

We recently posted this picture from The Lion King on our TruffleShuffle.com Facebook page and the huge response we got from you lovely lot about all the other tear jerking sad scenes that affected your childhood really got us thinking!

Perhaps kids movies shouldn't include such storylines - we are clearly all still emotionally scarred from whitenessing some of these moments right?

Some old, some new (a lot of them Disney!) - all intended as family friendly entertainment - well, we beg to differ.......! We even got a little tearful just researching for this feature :-(

We all remember our favourite bedtime stories from our childhood and this week my T Shirt dreams came true with the arrival of our gorgeous new collection of Fairytale T-Shirts & Vests!

Featuring Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty - these t-shirts and vests have been designed using the original fairytale imagery which was later bought to animated life by Walt Disney.
