Our Top Ten Films Turning 20 in 2015!

It's that time again everyone! Yes, we're taking a little look back in time to dig up some of the biggest, most iconic and all out amazing films that will be turning a cool 20 years old this very year!

Now, some of these might shock, amaze or perhaps just make you realise how old things (and you are). We certainly fall in the latter category!

So! Take a little trip down memory lane with us and take a peep at some of our favourite films that were released back in 1995!

1) Toy Story

Okay this one if just plain scary! It only seems 5 minutes ago that we were thrown into Andy's room with the weird and wonderful collection of Toys. Still amazing and still full of amazing Pixar animation, this has really stood the test of time, with sharp graphics and even better animation. A real kids classic.

.

2) Heat

A group of professional bank robbers start to feel the heat from police when they unknowingly leave a clue at their latest heist. All that action, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and Val Kilmer....what more could you want?!

.

3) GoldenEye

One of our all-time favourite Bond films and video games! James Bond teams up with the lone survivor of a destroyed Russian research centre to stop the hijacking of a nuclear space weapon by a fellow agent believed to be dead. Plenty of twists and turns, secret plots and of course a good helping of gun rights. Love it!

.

4) Casper

Such a kid's classic! A paranormal expert and his daughter bunk in an abandoned house populated by 3 mischievous ghosts and one friendly one. Amazingly, this was the first feature film with a computer-animated title character!

.

5) Clueless

Theeeeeee classic 90s flick! Clueless is one of the all-time greats and helped to define an era. A rich high school student tries to boost a new pupil's popularity, but reckons without affairs of the heart getting in the way.

.

6) Jumanji

We loved this growing up! Another classic Robin Williams flick that follows the story when two kids find and play a magical board game, they release a man trapped for decades in it and a host of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game. What year is it??

.

7) The Usual Suspects

Now this is a real classic! A sole survivor tells of the twisty events leading up to a horrific gun battle on a boat, which begin when five criminals meet at a seemingly random police lineup. Who is behind the whole thing? Can they really trust each other?

.

8 ) Babe

Now, making a film around a pig who can herd sheep shouldn't really be considered something most people would give two minds about, but when Babe hit the scene it became an instant kids classic and a real gem of a film. Animals rule!

.

9) Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Another classic from the Die Hard empire. In this instalment, John McClane and a Harlem store owner are targeted by German terrorist Simon Gruber in New York City, where he plans to rob the Federal Reserve Building. The two must solve riddles and puzzles in order to stop hidden bombs around the city and attempt to bring down the terrorists plans.

.

10) Apollo 13

A real edge of your seat classic! NASA must devise a strategy to return Apollo 13 to Earth safely after the spacecraft undergoes massive internal damage putting the lives of the three astronauts on board in jeopardy. Can they do it?

.

So there you have them folks! Some of our top films turning a whopping 20 years old this year. As scary as that may seems, it's amazing to see just how well loved and remembered these films are so far on. A real credit to some of these movie gems.

Which is your favourite 1995 film?
