With tension and excitement quickly building, we're throwing ourselves into another action-packed weekend. Will history be made? Will there be plenty of drama and emotion? You betcha!

Oliver! (1968) GREAT! movies classic 12:05pm-3:00pm

An Oscar-winning musical version of the stage play based on Charles Dickens' classic tale about a lonely workhouse orphan who ends up on the cold streets of London, where he falls under the wing of petty crook Fagin and his gang of young backstreet thieves. Featuring the iconic songs Food, Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, As Long as He Needs Me and You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two. Starring Ron Moody, Mark Lester, Oliver Reed, Jack Wild, Harry Secombe, Shani Wallis and Leonard Rossiter.

Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) Film4 1:10pm-3:20pm

Captain Picard and the Enterprise crew uncover a conspiracy by their own superiors and a sinister alien race to take over a peaceful world and exploit its power to prolong life. However, the crew is forced to defy Federation orders and turns renegade to protect the planet's inhabitants. Sci-fi adventure sequel, starring Patrick Stewart, F Murray Abraham, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner and Michael Dorn.

A gifted youngster is packed off by her selfish parents to the prison-like Crunchem Hall School. Once there, she befriends a sweet-natured teacher who convinces her that not all grown-ups are bad - and urges her to use her special powers to turn the tables on the nasty headmistress. Fantasy comedy, adapted from the children's book by Roald Dahl, with Mara Wilson, Pam Ferris, Embeth Davidtz, Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito, who also directed.

The Flintstones (1994) ITV2 3:15pm-5:05pm

Blue-collar caveman Fred Flintstone is promoted to an executive position at work and unwittingly becomes embroiled in an embezzlement scheme - thanks in no small part to his seductive new assistant. Live-action version of the cartoon comedy, starring John Goodman, Rick Moranis, Rosie O'Donnell, Halle Berry and Elizabeth Taylor.

Jumanji (1995) Channel 5 3:20pm-5:25pm

A man who has been trapped inside a mysterious jungle board game for 26 years is eventually freed when two children start to play it. Unfortunately, he arrives with a rampaging horde of animals on his heels, leaving only one solution - to finish the game he started all those years ago. Fantasy adventure, starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst and Bonnie Hunt.

Shrek (2001) ITV2 5:05pm-6:50pm

Anti-social ogre Shrek resolves to stop an evil ruler from banishing fairy-tale characters to his swampland home. However, the reluctant hero ends up forced to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from a castle guarded by a dragon, aided only by a wisecracking donkey. Animated comedy, with the voices of Mike Myers, John Lithgow, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Vincent Cassel.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) Film4 3:20pm-6:15pm

The war between the shape-shifting robots erupts once again, as the first of the evil Decepticons leads an attack on Earth to locate an ancient planet-destroying machine. Hapless teenager Sam Witwicky is caught in the middle of the ensuing conflict as he holds the key to discovering the location of the device. Sci-fi adventure sequel, starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

The rugged Australian adventurer sets out to save his reporter girlfriend from New York drug dealers. Having rescued her from their clutches, he realises they will soon be coming after him - so he decides to even the odds by luring them to the Outback for a final showdown. Comedy adventure sequel, starring Paul Hogan, Linda Kozlowski, John Meillon and Charles S Dutton.

A fishing boat crew plucks a man out of the sea with two bullet wounds in his back and a safety deposit number sewn into his skin - but absolutely no memory of who he is or how he got there. In the search for his true identity, he is pursued by assassins - but his skill at evading them suggests his own past is far from straightforward. Thriller, starring Matt Damon, Franka Potente, Chris Cooper, Clive Owen and Brian Cox.

Con Air (1997) ITV4 10:20pm-12:40am

Honourably discharged Army Ranger sergeant Cameron Poe hitches a ride home on a maximum-security flight conveying some of America's deadliest criminals. When they hijack the plane in mid-flight, led by criminal mastermind Cyrus the Virus, Poe is forced to intervene. Meanwhile, US marshal Vince Larkin has an ongoing battle on the ground to prevent the plane from being blown to pieces. Director Simon West's blockbusting action thriller, starring Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi, Ving Rhames and Colm Meaney.

Two unemployed New Yorkers travel to California in search of fame and fortune. Instead, the hapless duo end up clocking on for a 125-year stint in jail for a bank robbery they did not commit - until a prison rodeo presents them with the chance to make a daring escape. Comedy directed by Sidney Poitier, starring Richard Pryor, Gene Wilder, JoBeth Williams, Craig T Nelson and Georg Stanford Brown.

Weird Science (1985) BBC One 11:15pm-12:45am

Two sexually frustrated teenagers use their computer to design the perfect woman, but are ill-prepared for the outcome when their creation comes to life. She decides to make men of them, by putting them in a series of situations that will force them to stand up for themselves. John Hughes' sci-fi comedy, starring Kelly LeBrock, Anthony Michael Hall, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, Robert Downey Jr and Bill Paxton.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004) E4 8:40am-10:25am

The plucky sea creature sets out to prove his boss Mr Krabs is innocent of stealing Neptune's crown. However, the missing item has ended up in sinister Shell City, which all sea-dwellers fear and from which few have ever returned. Animated comedy, with the voices of Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown and Scarlett Johansson, plus a cameo appearance by David Hasselhoff.

A race of strange, babbling yellow creatures has served the cause of evil throughout the history of the world. An American couple decide their son needs a brother, and plan to adopt another child - but when they get to the orphanage they are greeted by a charming talking mouse named Stuart, who fits the bill perfectly. The Italian Job (1969) ITV 3:55pm-6:00pm

A crook assembles a motley gang to steal £4million in gold bullion from an Italian armoured car, which brings Turin to a standstill and enables the robbers to make a quick getaway in a fleet of Minis - but they end up falling foul of the Mafia along the way. Crime comedy, starring Michael Caine, Noel Coward, Benny Hill, Tony Beckley and John Le Mesurier.

Aliens arrive on Earth to abduct the Looney Tunes gang as a new attraction at their failing intergalactic theme park. To keep their freedom, Bugs Bunny and friends challenge the invaders to a high-stakes basketball game, calling on Michael Jordan to save the day and send the extraterrestrials back where they came from. Live-action and animated comedy, starring Bill Murray and Danny DeVito, with the voices of Billy West and Bill Farmer.
