Who's The Best Sesame Street Character? The Results Are In As Voted By You!
Answering those questions you always wondered but were perhaps too afraid to ask... or perhaps we just had a few spare minutes and wanted to have a little fun, we've been taking a dive into one of our biggest fandoms to find out once and for all, who really is the best Sesame Street character!
Inspired by the launch of our all-new and exclusive official Sesame Street merchandise this week, we took to our Instagram and Facebook stories to ask this very question and see just who's the best-loved on the street with some surprising results!

#10: Beaker
"Meep-meep-meep!" In at number ten and in our eyes fully deserving of so much more, we have the hapless lab assistant Beaker! He might not be the most helpful person to have around, but you sure know it's going to be eventful!
Is there anything Big Bird can't too? If he's not skating across the street, dancing to some Sesame classics or being generally creative, he's being an awesome friend and ally to his Muppet pals. What a legend.
#8: Grover
You name it, he's done it! Always able to put his hand at any job (including waiter, cabbie, painter and even photographer), this cute, furry little monster is one of the most hard-working and adventurous on the street and you just can't help but be hooked on his energy!
#7: Bert
One half of the iconic duo, this old soul is quiet at heart and happy with the simple life while studying and reading, all typically in vein with his best bud Ernie around!
#6: Mr Snuffleupagus
Oh, Snuffy! What a big huggable thing you are. This friendly cave-dweller is best buds with Big Bird (who's totally real not imagery!) and is sure one face on the street we wouldn't want to be without.
#5: Oscar The Grouch
Collector of all things grimy, this grumpy green Muppet is right at home in his trash can with all his belongings and keeping to himself. Something that's easy to do with all his pals on the street!
#4 Ernie
One thing's for sure, if Ernie is around there are going to be some laughs! Full of energy, Ernie has given us some of the most iconic moments from the street with his jokes and bags of energy!
#3: The Count
Count by name, count by nature! The street's number one number lover, The Count is a little allusive but always at hand to help out when numbers are involved. Ah-ah-ahhhh!
#2: Elmo
There's just no Sesame Street without Elmo, right? A total icon on the Street, this young and energetic hero is always at hand when there is a song that needs singing or a lesson that needs to be learnt.
#1 Cookie Monster
Here it is! Our number one Sesame Street character as voted by you was, of course, Cookie Monster!
This curious little blue critter is always around to be with his street pals and forever on the hunt for cookies! A true friend all the Muppets are lucky to have, we love to see him getting the appreciation he deserves.
