Barbie: The Movie is set to hit cinemas in the UK on Friday 21st July - and if you've seen any of the trailers or promo pics doing the rounds since the start of this year, you'll know that the film is visually set to fully embrace - nay, gently poke fun - at the plastic fantastic, ultra pink world of Barbie and her friends. Whatâs not to love?
With an incredible screenplay by Greta Gerwig and an all-star cast including Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling taking the roles of Barbie and Ken, who are banished from Barbie Land for being less than perfect, weâll follow their fun-filled story as they set off on an adventure in the real world to find true happiness.
There's also a heap of star turns in the movie from pop princess Dua Lipa (who has also recorded "Dance the Night", the lead single from the soundtrack), Will Ferrell (Elf, Anchorman), America Ferrara (Ugly Betty) and Nicola Coughlan (Derry Girls, Bridgerton) amongst many others to watch out for.
